Wrap-Around Care

Wrap-Around Care

We understand that family life can be extremely busy and so we provide parents with flexibility at the start and end of the school day, with daily wraparound care available from 7.30am to 6.00pm. The aim of wrap-around care is to create a family experience at the beginning and end of the school day.

You can drop your child off at Breakfast Club and collect them from The Den where they will enjoy a light tea. Our Pre-School children can attend both Early Birds and the Den as part of their PreSchool package. As members of Pre-Prep, the Reception children can attend after school clubs as well as the Den.

‘Kiss And Drop’

A ‘car to school’ drop-off is also available from 8.20am meaning you can drive up to the front door and let your child out of the car straight into the school where they will be welcomed in by a member of staff.

Early Birds Breakfast Club

Available from 7.30am daily with a cost of £5.00 per child which is added to your school fees. A light breakfast of toast, cereals and fresh fruit is served in our Dining Hall before playing outside in preparation for school starting at 8.30am.

The Den After School Club

The Den is our daily after-school club available for all pupils from Pre-School to Year 6 with a cost of £12.50 per child, which is added to your school fees and must be booked in advance via the parent portal.

A range of fun and interactive arts and crafts, puzzles, games, outdoor-play and a quiet book corner are part of the daily activities on offer. A healthy tea is served with all the children eating together at 4.30pm. You are welcome to collect your daughter anytime from 4.45pm – 6pm.

N.B. If your child is in receipt of Early Years Funding, there is no charge for every full day they attend.

“Highfield is the very best of schools. It has been perfect for our daughter and I couldn’t ask for more. It’s family culture sets it apart and it has all the right values. It is diverse, inclusive, teaches right and wrong from an early stage and aims to produce kind and clever girls who are aware of the world and care for the people around them. We did consider moving our daughter to be in the same school as our son for ease but we couldn’t do it!”
